Rangers ‘Pretty Sure’ Moore Will Sign Before Camp Opens

The Rangers had quite the number of free agents to contend with this offseason after a scintillating run to their first Stanley Cup Final appearance since 1994. New York has dealt with all but one: John Moore. The 23-year-old defenseman is still without a contract, but the Blueshirts don’t seem to be worried as Assistant GM […]

Last week, Michael Russo at the Star Tribune reported that the Rangers have had talks with the recently amnestied Ryan Malone about a possible tryout or even signing. My initial reaction to the report was… Why would the Rangers be interested in a 34-year old player who scored a grand total of 15 points for […]

If you’ll recall, reports came out on July 11 that Kristo had accepted the team’s qualifying offer. Two days ago, CapGeek had the contract details on their site.

As Adam alluded to earlier today in his post, Kristo’s future with the Rangers is shrouded in some doubt with the signing of Kevin Hayes yesterday and the glut of speedy, small forwards already in the organization. He could be a candidate to be shipped out.

Danny Kristo’s Future With The Rangers Is In Doubt

I think I caught a number of people by surprise when I ranked Danny Kristo ninth in my prospect rankings back in July. Kristo came to the Rangers with a good amount of hype. He was one of the few standouts at the Traverse City tournament, showed some flashes of skill in the pre-season, and […]

The only thing that saves me from smashing my head with a cinder block as the summer fades away is the coinciding emergence of hockey season. The NHL is still in hibernation mode, but other leagues are starting to kick things into gear. As such, there is some prospect news. The biggest news is that […]
