Miller Looking “Quicker & Sharper” at Informals

It’s no mystery that the loss of players such as Benoit Pouliot, Brad Richards and Brian Boyle leaves a huge void in the Rangers line-up this season that could very likely be filled by young, unestablished rookies. One such player is JT Miller. The organization is hoping the 21-year old forward is ready to take the next step […]

Rangers ‘Pretty Sure’ Moore Will Sign Before Camp Opens

The Rangers had quite the number of free agents to contend with this offseason after a scintillating run to their first Stanley Cup Final appearance since 1994. New York has dealt with all but one: John Moore. The 23-year-old defenseman is still without a contract, but the Blueshirts don’t seem to be worried as Assistant GM […]

Buried within a great piece yesterday on Rangers legend Brian Leetch discussing his time as Rangers captain and offering his thoughts on why Ryan McDonagh makes sense as the next potential man to where the ‘C’ on a Broadway Blueshirt, Katie Strang of ESPN offered up a nugget regarding the status of contract talks between defenseman […]

Rangers, Kristo Officially Agree to Terms on New Deal

If you’ll recall, reports came out on July 11 that Kristo had accepted the team’s qualifying offer. Two days ago, CapGeek had the contract details on their site.

As Adam alluded to earlier today in his post, Kristo’s future with the Rangers is shrouded in some doubt with the signing of Kevin Hayes yesterday and the glut of speedy, small forwards already in the organization. He could be a candidate to be shipped out.
