Rangers’ forwards Mats Zuccarello and Carl Hagelin participated in Norway’s Right To Play” Allstar Game on Friday. According to Zuccarello’s website, Right To Play is “a global organization that uses the transformative power of play to educate and empower children facing adversity. Through sports and games, Right To Play help children build essential life skills and better futures, while driving social change in their communities with lasting impact.”
Patrick Thoresen, who previously played in the NHL for the Oilers and Flyers, is a fellow Norwegian who apparently decided it would be funny to mock Mats Zuccarello during the game. He was right. It was absolutely hilarious.
I think he nailed it. The hair, the absurdly long stick, the skating stride, and the need to crash into everything. All that was missing was the awkward, goofy grin after scoring a goal.
