…after back-to-back Games 6 & 7 vs. the Flyers, the Rangers only get one day to rest between series, while Kings get two. This is the only series with back-to-back games. And this series is squeezed into a 12-day span while the rest of the series are in a 14-day span. Nope, Bettman isn’t trying to give the Penguins an edge or anything.
…after Game 3 next Monday, the Rangers will have played six games in a nine day span. That’s like a baseball schedule. How is that fair?
Tried to get a quote from Bettman on the NHL’s thought process regarding the scheduling of this series, but I was told he was sleeping in this morning…
