Rangers @ Maple Leafs (Game 43) – Rangers Obtain Carcillo from Kings

Update, 7:09 p.m.:
The Rangers have obtained Dan Carcillo from the Kings for a conditional 7th round pick.

Carcillo is in the final year of his $825K per contract.

…wow, this morning I said the Rangers needed an Avery-like trade, but no way I thought they were getting another idiot from the Kings.

…listen, Carcillo isn't even close to being the same agitator we saw pound Gaborik in Philadelphia, but he does bring some toughness that the team is in desperate need of. Hopefully, he can utilize his agitating style to get opponents off their game. It's a low risk move. If he doesn't work out, to Hartford he goes.

…Richards says the locker room is too comfortable, I'm not sure what could make it more uncomfortable than bringing in a former hated player.
