Boston Bruins v Philadelphia Flyers

Mason Out for Game 2; Rangers Want to Get Bodies to the Net

Here’s head coach Craig Berube on the decision (via ESPN.com)…

“We talked it over as an organization and he’s not ready.”

Before this news was revealed, Brad Richards said it didn’t matter who’s in goal for the Flyers tomorrow as the Rangers will have the same mindset (via Blueshirts United)…

“Our game plan isn’t going to change. Whoever is in net, we’ve got to get pucks to the net. We can’t give up shots. Same terms every team is going to use going into a playoff round.”

Rich Nash added that the Rangers not only need to get pucks, but also bodies to the net (via Rangers Twitter)…

“For sure, we want to get that first goal, come out a bit harder, create more traffic.”

…like everyone else, I expect the Flyers to come out with a much higher battle level tomorrow, but if the Rangers get pucks and bodies to the net I don’t see how they lose Game 2.
