St. Croix named MVP

Last night, the Edmonton Oil Kings advanced to the WHL Championship Series with 2-0 win over the Calgary Hitmen. Michael St. Croix, (NYR 4th-'11) scored both goals en route to being named MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals.

So far this postseason, St. Croix is 10-12-22 in 16 games to lead all Oil Kings scorers.

St. Croix was recently ranked as the Rangers' 10th best prospect by Hockey's Future.

We've covered St. Croix a fair amount on the blog this season, mainly when he would break out for a 3 goal or 5 point night. This postseason is St. Croix's last rodeo at the junior level before he makes the jump to the Hartford Connecticut Wolf Whale Pack next fall. Close followers of the "Baby Rangers" should be very excited over the caliber of player they'll be getting very soon.
