Richards On Pace for 82-Goal Season

In much more positive news from last night, Brad Richards continued his impressive start to the season scoring his third goal in three games during a 5-on-3 power play…

…if he can stay on this pace and score 82-goals, I'll change my opinion on buying him out this summer. lol

…in all seriousness, I'm not surprised by Richards' start as I'm sure his pride was destroyed last season and has extra motivation to prove people wrong. And with Nash likely out for sometime, Richards is going to be relied on to carry the load (oh Lord). If he can keep this up, I think the team, as they continue to get more comfortable in AV's system, can stay afloat until Nash comes back.

…having said that, I still see Richards getting amnestied at the end of the year. Although, if Nash continues this lack of output he might find himself in the conversation as well.

Speaking of goals last night, who knew Derek Dorsett could do this…
