The New York Rangers prospects (1-3) defeated the Minnesota Wild prospects (0-4) by the score of 5-2 in the fourth and final game of the Traverse City Tournament, yesterday. For a box score, click here.
Jesper Fast had his first two goals of the tournament.
Oscar Lindberg assisted on both goals and finished the tournament with 5g, 2a.
Andrew Yogan picked up his second and third (empty net) goals at Traverse.
Danny Kirsto had a goal and an assist. Finished with 2g, 5a in the four games.
Jeff Malcolm had 15 saves on 17 shots for the win.

…besides the 1-3 record, I'm pretty sure the Rangers organization couldn't have asked for more when the three guys who are likely to push for an NHL roster spot in camp (Lindberg, Kristo and Fast) light it up the way they did in this tournament.
…my one disappointment was St. Croix, who struggled to put up points for the second straight Traverse as he ended with just one assist.
…as always, the Traverse acted as a nice little appetizer before training camp begins tomorrow. SO PUMPED!!!!
