In his frst game back since suffering a concussion October 8th, Rick Nash went pointless on five shots on goal in almost 18 minutes Tuesday night.
Here's Nash on how he felt the day after…
“I feel pretty good. I was just wondering how tired I would be this morning and I’m a little tired but with each practice you get more and more in shape. It was nice to get (the first one) out of the way, almost six weeks to the day that I played the last game. So it was good and good to get the first period out of the way. I felt a little shaky there then back to normal after that.”
Nash added this on generating numerous chances in his first game back…
“That is the important thing, getting the chances. The chances were definitely there yesterday but I just gotta dig deep and work a little harder with finishing.”

…awesome to hear Nash responded well to his first game back. You just never know with concussions. Can easily have a relapse. Just ask Marc Staal.
…as Nash admits, his finish was a bit rusty, but I was beyond encouraged with the offense he was generating. Despite the lack of goals, the Rangers had a ridiculous amount of legit scoring chances. Unfortunately, they ran into a brick wall named Tuuka Rask.
…i also liked the chemistry Nash had with Richards and Callahan. That line combined for 13 shots on goal and were buzzing for most of the night. Assuming AV sticks with that trio tonight.
