Mitch Beck at The Howlings reports that JT Miller will likely be invited to Rangers camp when it hopefully opens on Sunday.
Most reports have indicated that Miller would start the season with the CT Whale.

…if Miller is given a legit shot to make the roster during camp, I think he'll give guys like Pyatt, Halpern, Asham and Rupp a real run for one of the final spots. Ultimately, I think he's destined for the Whale. But similar to Hagelin last year, I feel you'll see him re-called at some point during the season.
Here's an interesting development that could affect Miller…
It's "expected" tho not official yet that the 10-game rule for called up juniors will become the six-game rule.

…no way Miller is being sent back to his junior team in Plymouth. He's either going to be playing for the Whale or Rangers. Miller is able to be sent down to the Whale after the six games because, despite playing in the OHL, he was not drafted from it (USDL).
Beck adds that Chris Kreider, Marek Hrivik, Michael Haley and Matt Gilroy should also be invited to Rangers camp.
In anticipation of these players leaving for Rangers camp, the Whale have recalled Andrew Yogan from from its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors.
