Update, 9:57 a.m.:
So I'm an idiot as Adam quickly points out why Miller needed to be sent to the Whale yesterday…
@thenyrblog Again, to make him eligible for the AHL playoffs!

Larry Brooks at the New York Post reports that JT Miller's wrist, which he injured last month, is still bothering him and was the reason for the recall back to the Rangers after being assigned to the Whale earlier in the day.
Brooks adds that the team wanted Miller to receive treatment on the wrist in New York rather than in Hartford.
…is this confusing to anyone else? They're the ones who sent MIller to the Whale, so why all of a sudden did they realize treatment in New York was better? I think I need to just stop questioning Rangers medical decisions, because I'll never understand them.
…i guess this also explains Miller's drop in play recently.
