Last night, Rangers nation received some possible tremendous news from Daren Millard of Sportsnet who said he's hearing good things about Rick Nash's recovery from a concussion.
Millard reports that Nash has skated recently and his status is now week to week.
According to Millard, the Rangers are being tight lipped about Nash, but he trusts his source on this news.
Unfortunately, Steve Zipay at Newsday refutes this revelation by tweeting that he's been told Millard's report is incorrect.
Sportsnet also noted that Nash did visit with a concussion specialist yesterday in Tarrytown.
…Rangers tight lipped about an injury? I don't believe it.
…i refuse to get overly excited until Millard's report is confirmed by the Rangers. And even then, with the Blueshirt medical staff's track record, I don't know what to think. And I'd love to know what "skating" means? Did he take a twirl around the ice a couple of times or was a he doing a rigorous workout?
…no matter what the actually truth is, Rangers fans are likely not going to see Nash in a Blueshirt until at least the holidays.
…i hate to say the Nash trade has, up until this point, blown up in the Rangers face, but…
