Bruins Expect Desperate Rangers Team Tonight

Joe Haggerty at Comcast Sportsnet New England reports that the Bruins are fully expecting to walk into a hornet's nest at MSG tonight…

Milan Lucic…

“We know their season hasn’t started the way they wanted to, so they’re going to come at us with everything they’ve got. They’re a proud team and we’ve had some great battles over the last few years. We expect nothing less (tonight)."

Bruins coach Claude Julien on whether he expects Rangers to play with some urgency tonight…

“I don’t think they will, I know they will. When you’re that type of team and you’re put in that kind of position, you would expect the very best out of them tomorrow. It’s not an easy building to play and we’ve had our fair share of tough games there over the years. So we’re expecting a challenge. But nonetheless it’s an opportunity for us to go into their building and play the best New York team that they’ve been so far [this season]. It will be a really tough test and we’ll be up to it.”

…i agree with the Bruins here. I expect to see the Rangers team we all feel in love with last season. Led by their Captain Ryan Callahan, who I can almost guarantee will come out flying tonight, hitting everything that moves and establishing a forecheck early. If we don't see that kind of hustle early it might be another long night at MSG. And I don't even want to think about the panic that will ensue in Rangers Nation.

Here's a preview of tonight's game…
