The New York Rangers prospects (0-3) lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets prospects (2-1) by the score of 4-2 in the third game of the Traverse City Tournament, yesterday. For a box score, click here.

Oscar Lindberg scored his fifth goal in three games.

Josh Nichols scored the Rangers final goal, which was his second at Traverse this year.

Mackenzie Skapski had 31 saves on 35 shots.

Here's the highlights…

…if Lindberg and Kristo both make the Rangers opening night line-up, AV has no choice but to put them on a line together.

…Nicholls was an under the radar signing the Rangers made last season. Big kid with speed. Got to like that.

…always hard to tell how a goaltender played by watching a highlight film, but I could have saved at least three of the goals Skapski gave up. The Rangers 2013 6th round draft pick discussed his performance in the tournament so far…

…two more fights for Leroux, which gives him four in the three games. Eff'n love this kid.

…St. Croix disappointing for the second straight Traverse as he's yet to find the back of the net. The sniper has just one assist, is a -1 and has registered only 8 shots on goal in the three games.

…defense has given up a whopping 14 goals in the tournament so far. Wonder how much better the unit would be with Brady Skjei (U. of Minnesota) and Calle Andersson (Sweden).

…final game is today at 3:30pm against the Wild.
