Yogan Reassigned to Greenville

The CT Whale have announced that forward Andrew Yogan has been reassigned from the Whale to its ECHL affiliate, the Greenville Road Warriors.

Yogan, a rookie and a fourth-round (100th overall) selection by the parent New York Rangers in the 2010 NHL Draft, has one goal and 11 penalty minutes in 11 games this season with the Whale, and had missed the last four contests due to injury.

…Yogan has to be one of the more frustrating prospects to come through the Rangers. Guy has all the tools and physical features to be a NHL player, but you're not always sure where he's at between the ears.

…let's hope he can find his game in Greenville and become the top prospect we all know he can be.

Yogan finished 6th in the OHL with 41 goals and 15th with 78 points last season.

While Yogan can be a maddening prospect, at least he wasn't arrested for driving drunk in a Teletubby costume.

Jason Wilson, who was just cleared to play after sitting out the Whale’s first 17 games due to injury, was also reassigned.
