Staal Approved for Light Physical Activity

staal4Larry Brooks at the New York Post reports that Marc Staal has been given approval to begin light physical activity following his examination by concussion specialist Dr. Robert Cantu in Boston on Tuesday.

Brooks adds that the Rangers will not be issuing updates on Staal’s health status during the recovery process and it remains unclear whether he’ll be able to play this season.

…while this doesn’t mean fans should expect Staal back next week, it is nice to hear some positive news on the Rangers All Star defenseman.
