Rick Nash: “City Has a Buzz About It”

Over at Blueshirts United, New York Rangers beat writer Jim Cerny caught up with Rick Nash and discussed a variety of topics ranging from how he’s gotten acclimated to New York, to his impressions of Chris Kreider and Carl Hagelin, to his thoughts on Brad Richards possibly being his center.

Don’t forget to come back to Blueshirts United with questions for Cerny’s live chat at 2:00 p.m.

  • Sounds like Nash really appreciates the Rangers tradition as an Original Six team and has liked living in New York thus far. Automatically, he’s a better man than Shea Weber.
  • He’s spot on about chemistry with Richards: Just because they’re both great talents doesn’t automatically mean they’ll click. It’ll take some work.
  • Nice to hear he’s impressed with Hagelin and Kreider, either one would make a great linemate for him.
