Andrew Gross at the Bergen Record reports that Brandon Dubinsky (lower body) made the trip to Washington and was seen in the Rangers’ room without any apparent casts/wraps/crutches/bandages/etc.
…that’s actually very encouraging. Especially after the pic I posted of Dubi in the foot cast from the other day.
Gross also reports that Mats Zuccarello skated with his teammates in warm-ups this morning but left before any drills began.
Zuccarello said he’s been skating about a week but there’s still no timetable for his return. He’s due to have an X-ray on his wrist when the team returns to New York after Game 4.
…have to assume if the Rangers make it to the next round, Zuccarella will be ready to go.
Gross also spoke with Stu Bickel, who Tortorella said will be fine, about his crucial turnover in Game 2…
“I don’t even want to talk to you about it. I’m not talking about it because I’m not focusing on it.”
…looks like Bickel is taking lessons from Torts with that quote.
…expect him back in the line-up tonight.
Here’s video of Tortorella’s press conference this morning…
