Miller Starting to Dominate

Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park says Rangers 2011 first round pick J.T. Miller might be making good on his promise to be playing professional hockey a year after being drafted…

“Right now Miller is making a strong case that he has earned the right to advance in his career. Miller is bigger, his decision making is faster and he is looking to make the play rather than be a part of it.”

Miller is currently with his OHL team the Plymouth Whalers until NHL camp eventually opens and did this in his first exhibition game last night…

…unfortunately, we have to factor in the lockout with everything right now, so really not sure how it’ll impact Miller this season. If nothing else, I’d like to see him playing for the Whale. I think junior hockey is beneath his skill level at this point and playing another season with Plymouth will do nothing for his development as an NHLer.
