In an interview with Page Six at the New York Post, Henrik Lundqvist discusses his preparation for the upcoming season despite the impending lockout…
“I’m approaching it that it’s going to be good to go when it’s time to go. I’m practicing the same way and, mentally, I’m preparing for a normal season.”
…got to assume this is the mindset of most NHL players. While it doesn’t look promising, a player can’t take their training for granted because anything can happen. And God help any Rangers player who isn’t in shape for Torts’ training camp.
…this is the time of year fans normally start getting fired up for a new season, instead it’s complete frustration.
Speaking of Lundqvist, looks like he’s embarassing another Philadelphia team…
Congratulations to Cliff Lee on having as many wins at Citizens Bank Park in 2012 as Henrik Lundqvist.
