Hrivik Keeps Rolling As Whale Take Game 1 of ECSF

Andreas Thuresson scored the overtime game winner to give the CT Whale a 3-2 win over the Norfolk Admirals Wednesday night in Norfolk, in Game One of their Eastern Conference Semifinal match-up.

In the game, Marek Hrivik scored his fifth of the playoffs (4 games), while JT Miller picked up his first professional point assisting on Hrivik’s goal.

The Rangers are said to be interested in signing Hrivik, who is on an ATO with the Whale, this coming offseason.

Tim Erixon also picked up an assist in the contest.

Game 2 is tonight.

…while you don’t want to get too excited about this Hrivik kid, how can you not. Size, soft hands and can put the puck in the net? Yes, please.

…also big time congrats to Miller on getting his first professional point. Can’t wait to see both of these guys in camp next season.
