First Pro Goal a Relief for Miller

After scoring his first professional goal on a sweet move past Devils 2011 first round pick Adam Larsson during the Whale's 5-2 win Wednesday night, J.T. Miller discusses the relief he felt (via Blueshirts United)…

"It felt really nice to get the load off. I've been trying to get one. I had a couple in preseason, but I really wanted one. Through the first few games I was getting some chances, but it was really nice to bare down and stick one in. It felt really great."

Miller's goal came in his 14th professional game.

…obviously, it must have felt good to get the monkey off his back. Not that Miller has been performing poorly, but now that he's got the first one out of the way, I'm sure he'll be able to relax and play his game.

Here's the rest of his interview…

Here's the goal (1:04 mark)…
