Back in November, Rangers prospect Jesper Fasth (2010 – 6th) suffered a broken foot during a game with his Swedish team HV17 that required surgery.
Now, Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park reports that Fasth returned to the line-up for Game 2 of HV17’s current playoff series.
Rubenstein adds that Fasth may need another year in Sweden, but sources have told him that he would fit perfectly in John Tortorella’s system.

…you don’t hear much about Fasth because he plays over in Europe, but be assured this kid is a player. but likely won’t be in camp for at least another year.
…can’t have enough guys from Sweden.
