Bickel Had Productive Off-Season

In an interview with Blueshirts United, Stu Bickel discussed his off-season…

“I always want to push myself to another level, and I felt like I’ve had a really productive off-season and worked on a lot of different things. I’m excited to get going.”

…i thought Bickel had a real solid first NHL season and was really shocked that Torts lost confidence in him during the playoffs as his snarl and toughness could have helped the Rangers. Having said that he did have a lot to work on and I’m happy to hear he addressed his short-comings.

Also interviewed during yesterday’s informal practice that included Rick Nash, Taylor Pyatt, Jeff Halpern, Henrik Lundqvist, Brad Richards, Marc Staal, Dan Girardi, Anton Stralman, Ryan McDonagh, Derek Stepan, Bickel, Carl Hagelin and Chris Kreider, were Pyatt and Lundqvist…
