Werek Scores a Hat Trick

werekJess Rubestein at The Prospect Park tells us that Ethan Werek (2009 – 2nd) scored his first career hat trick last night to help his Kingston Frontenacs to a 6-5 win over the Peterbough Petes.

Werek, who also had an assist in the game, now has 20g, 22a on the season.

…Werek seems to have recovered nicely from the wrist injury that sidelined him for a month and a half.

…just another reason for Rangers fans to be excited for the future. Or maybe another reason to be afraid that Sather might trade some of this young talent for Richards.
