Graves Being Graves

gravesinspireMark Herrmann at Newsday details another inspiring story made possible by Adam Graves.

Back in 2009, Graves received to an e-mail from Rangers fan Jason Mayo regarding a friend, Rich Einhorn, who was sick with cancer. Mayo was hoping for a nice letter from Graves to left his friend’s spirits. But in typical Graves fashion, he not only invited them to the 2009-10 season opener, but sat with them the entire game in a Garden suite he provided.

“I was feeling pretty horrible, but it felt like we were with some guy we grew up with,” said Einhorn.

That act inspired Mayo to write and publish a children’s book with proceeds being donated to the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

“It has changed my whole life, really,” Mayo said

Graves, Mayo and Einhorn visited the Rusk Institute at NYU Langone Medical Center yesterday to read the book, “Do Witches Eat Fishes?,” to sick children.

…i seriously don’t think there is a greater human being on the face of the planet than Adam Graves. He really is amazing.
