Pat Leonard at the Daily News takes a look at the offensive struggles of Brandon Dubinsky this season. And has this quote from the snake bit winger…
“It’s been a bit of a struggle for me obviously, but I’ve been pretty conscientious about how I’ve been playing, trying to learn from the mistakes I make, trying to build on the good things that I do,” Dubinsky said. “As soon as I get going, you’ll look back and (this) six weeks, seven weeks, it’s just (going to be) a small blip on the screen. That’s the way I’ve got to approach it mentally.”
…i’ve got to give credit to Torts for sticking with Dubi. He’s tried everything to get him out of this funk from dropping him to the fouth line to keeping him on the power play. But the next move might have to be the press box.
…i thought Dubi had a solid game Saturday night so hopefully it’s something to build off of. I’ve been impressed that through all these early season struggles, for the most part, he hasn’t let it effect the rest of his game.
