@thnyrangers tweets that Tortorella said the Rangers don’t have a two-goalie system and that Lundqvist must be the backbone of the team if they’re going anywhere.

Andrew Gross tweets that John Tortorella says Lundqvist is not dealing with any injury issues. He just wants to give him time to work with goalie coach Benoit Allaire.

…something’s got to be wrong with Hank physically. That’s the only conclusion I can come up with.
…if that’s not the case, not sure what Tort’s is thinking here. Sure Hank has been giving up some softies lately, but he’s urguably the best player on the team. No need to mess with his head.
